Are you curious about needle felting? A little scared of needle felting? Come find out what it's all about! In this presentation a stabbing aficionado will share a mix of inspiration and technical info to help demystify this fascinating fiber art. There will be videos, sculptures to touch, and photos of sheep! What more could you want? Bring your curiosity, but don't worry about the safety of your fingers - this is NOT a live demo or class.

"So you've heard a little bit about needle felting, and you're ready to try it out - then this is the place to be! This three-hour hands-on class will provide everything you need to make your first felted piece for a materials fee of $25. At the end you take not only your finished piece, but also the tools needed to keep stabbing when you get home! We'll be making baby meowrimos - a type of tiny little green kitty.

Seats are limited to 10 participants, so please plan to arrive early to secure a spot and understand that we may run out of spaces. If all participant spaces are filled, anyone who wishes will be welcome to observe the class at no charge. Please be aware that the tools used are sharp, and this technique is not suitable for children under 8 because of the manual dexterity required. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, but the parent does not have to participate unless they want to."
