Founded in 2013, the Convention History Project is a group founded by university students meant to document the history of modern fan conventions, covering all genres from stf, sci-fi, comics, anime, furry, Trekkie, brony, and more, all extending from the 1939 Worldcon model. Convention History has hosted history panels at cons for over a decade and working on a book.
